Last Updated: February 24, 2026

Emory Healthcare Veterans Program (EHVP) was founded in 2015 with a grant from the Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP). Another grant from WWP expanded the program’s clinical space in 2019. With around 13,000 square feet on the 3rd floor of 12 Executive Park, EHVP is one of four world-renowned academic medical centers, which together, make up its partnership with the Warrior Care Network® (WCN), funded primarily by the WWP. Through EHVP, post-9/11 veterans and service members suffering from invisible wounds of military service, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), depression, and anxiety receive state-of-the-art, holistic treatment tailored specifically to each participant’s unique needs and goals. For eligible participants enrolled in clinical research studies, EHVP offers evidence-based therapy combined with psychedelic drugs. In both time-tested and innovative areas of medicine such as these, EHVP is committed to training the next generation of mental health care providers, offering training opportunities including pre-doctoral practicum and post-doctoral fellowships in cognitive and behavioral psychology. Both opportunities provide training in research with the fellowship offering a dual focus on advanced clinical training and clinical research, while the practicum encourages trainees to prepare a poster or manuscript. EHVP also trains psychiatry residents, nurse preceptors, social work interns, and more.
